In early 2010 Ace Vegas decided she was over listening to her fellow derby girls sad stories of excess postage costs from overseas, wrong size gear being sent, and long waits for gear to enter the country or crazy skate store prices and staff having no idea what roller derby was.

Founded in early 2010 Skate Salvage aims to match or beat all local prices, reduce port waits to a few days not weeks, stock what a derby girl needs and above all offer excellent service and support to the Australian roller derby community.
